Thank you to the LA County Department of Arts and Culture and the LA County Probation Department

Aside from Spirit Awakening’s work in the juvenile probation halls and camps, since 2017, we have also been able to work in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture and the Los Angeles County Probation Department to provide the Spirit Awakening Youth Art Project to hundreds of students in public high schools and continuation schools throughout the County. 

We’re excited to announce that we’ve hired SAF graduates to offer their experience and guidance to youth in the classroom as SAF Peer Mentors. 

The Spirit Awakening Youth Art Project is a partnership between the Los Angeles County Probation Department, the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture and the Spirit Awakening Foundation.
