Program Graduate, Peer Mentor & Ambassador

Makeva Tasby is from Compton, California. She’s a proud graduate of the Spirit Awakening Foundation program and now currently serves as a Spirit Awakening Peer Mentor and Ambassador. Through her participation and involvement with Spirit Awakening, Makeva has been inspired to further her education and help give back to others in need. Makeva is a returning performer in Spirit Awakening Foundation’s annual performance fundraiser, Voices of the Unheard, and her written pieces for Spirit Awakening Foundation have been featured on the radio and live TV.
